A Clinical Certification Program

Want to learn the art of hypnosis? Learn hypnosis with this intensive 10 week, 15 session, 100 hour course, intended for those interested in learning the art of hypnotism. Students will receive a Master Hypnotist Certification upon completion.

Continuing Education Requirements | Hypnosis Certification

Classes that are required to  stay certified include 25 hours every two years. Education may include courses approved from a variety of learning sources.

 

Disclaimer: Check local / state laws (here’s one resource , and another ) to determine laws, if any, regulating hypnosis services. Some states mandate that those calling themselves hypnotherapists must have a license in counselling, while other states have no such laws or requirements.

In some states there are specific laws regulating the degrees, training, certification etc. a hypnotist must have, in others there is not so much regulation, but suggestions from orgs like the Guild that disclaimers like below be used:

”  It is our opinion that you may practice in these states within Guild Standards provided you identify yourself as a “Hypnotist,” call the service you render “nontherapeutic hypnotism,” use only approved Guild Terminology and add to your Client Bill of Rights the following paragraph: “The services I render are held out to the public as nontherapeutic hypnotism, defined as the use of hypnosis to inculcate positive thinking and the capacity for self-hypnosis. I do not represent my services as any form of health care or psychotherapy, and despite research to the contrary, by law I may make no health benefit claims for my services.” ” Reference
